Bachelorette Party Ideas- Traverse City
Hi Ladies,
I am down here in Detroit and am planning a party in Traverse City.
I think I have found a cottage to rent, but if anyone knows of a place I would love the information. Also, we are planning a wine tour for the day on Saturday. I think I found a shuttle service, but again any advice would be great. And finally, I am looking for a decent restaurant for all of us to go to and then a bar to go out to in the evening.
Thanks for any information you can help me with.
Re: Bachelorette Party Ideas- Traverse City
The boards are kind of quiet this week with the holidays. If you don't get an answer today, you may want to check back next week. I know of one person that should be able to help you, but is off this week.
A shuttle service is a great idea for the wine tour. I've been to two culinary tourism events this past year and I know there have been several mentions of great places to eat in TC, I just can't remember their names. Maybe WendyGR can help direct you to places or food blogs that review resturants.
I've heard this place is nice. It used to be the old state hospital, in fact, I googled TC old mental hospital, to find the website.

There are shops, eateries, and wineries in there.
Stella's is great. There is a restaurant at Turtle Creek called Bourbon 72 (I think) that has great food and it's not that far out or town.
The Apache Trout Grill is good for dinner. I also like North Peake.
MH, my friends and I like to go to the Loading Dock for night life. They typically have live music there. It's pretty low key. I think Union Street (more downtown) is fun. They have live music a lot of nights as well.
