CD mommas-a q
Do you use a diaper pail with CD pail liner or just a big wet bag where you change diapers? I can't decide which would work best in the nursery. Our house is very small so we will likely change on the changing table more often than anything... so not sure if I want to just hang a big wet bag off the side or do a pail with a CD liner.
Suggestions?

I would think the pail/liner has a few advantages over using a hanging wet bag: 1) Its size. We only do diaper laundry every third day, so by the time we're doing laundry, the bag is VERY full and heavy. There's no way I could see a wet bag hanging there with 18+ diapers in it. 2) I can just step on the pail to open it, and toss the diaper inside. With a wet bag, you'd have to unzip and put the diaper in there--requiring two hands. 3) When baby is mobile, a tall trash can would keep them at bay a little bit. If there was a wet bag hanging on the side of the dresser, I'm pretty sure Nora would be all over it. 4) Lastly, maybe it's just my wet bags, and maybe the PUL is f-ed up or something, but if I leave wet diapers hanging out in my wet bag for too long (like overnight or something), I can feel the slightest bit of dampness on the outside of the wet bag. I wouldn't want that hanging out in my kid's room, KWIM?
One suggestion that I would make and have considered doing (but haven't yet) would be to keep a second pail or a hanging wet bag in the bathroom for poopy diaper disposal. Since Nora is in daycare, we typically just take of all her poopy diapers from the day all at once--but we end up carrying her diaper pail into her bathroom and throwing the diapers in there once we dump the solids out into the toilet. It works for us, but admittedly is not the most efficient way of doing things.

Just like Heather mentioned, my wetbags get really damp on the outside when they've been sitting around for awhile, like more than a couple hours. And I have several different brands of wetbags all different sizes and they all get damp.
I only use wetbags for a day outing and a diaper pail with liner (which also gets damp on the outside) for dirty diaper storage at home. We keep the diaper pail in the bathroom since that's where we clean the poopy diapers. We do all diaper changes in the bedroom and then carry the diaper to the bathroom. We used to have a small plastic bin that we'd keep in the bedroom to shuttle the diapers to the bathroom.

We used a pail for a while, but realized it was easier to have a hanging wet bag (planet wise) in the bathroom. Makes it easier to put the poopy diapers in once they start solids. Saves room in the bedroom, etc.
ETA: The large hanging wet bag holds a lot of diapers. It gets heavy towards wash day (every 3 days) then we just stop hanging it and it pretty much stands next to the toilet. But at that point we have 2-3 diaper changes till wash anyways so no biggie.
