Recommend your facial moisturizer

I have been using Clinique's dramatically different lotion for about 8 years now.  I was looking for something a little more moisturizing.  Moisturizer is the one thing I do splurge.  Anyone use Philosophy??  I've heard good things.  I use Origins for my night cream so I wonder if anyone has used their moisturizer.  TIA!

Re: Recommend your facial moisturizer

  • I use Mary Kay's night and day moisturizer routine.

  • I use Clinique's redness relief.  It comes in a tub and its very thick and moisturizing.  Clinique has several other types that are just as thick.

I've heard good things (aside from the smell) of Hope in a Jar.

  • I'm no help. Like you, I use Clinique's DDML.
  • I really love Hope in a Jar, but if you want something even more moisturizing than DDML, I don't think you're going to get it from Hope.  It's pretty light and not at all the thick moisturizer you're used to.  I agree with Chelsey that maybe a straight oil would be best if you want the highest level of moisturization. :)

  • I use an oil-free version of Hope in a Jar so that's probably not any help.

I just used up a sample of Total Moisture from Benefit and it was very thick and moisturizing. I liked it a lot.

  • I'm currently using Hope in a Jar.  My favorite has been Clarins in the past, but Hope is light and non-greasy like Clarins.

  • I posted the other day about loving Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer.  Spendy, but moisturizing, SPF and good coverage.  I need multi-taskers.  Love.

This during the day. I use the age defying moisturizer at night.

  • I'm no help - I love clinique. I'm not a big lotion person - most of it feels really oily to me, but the clinique stuff rubs right in and doesn't make my hands feel slippery for the rest of the day.
