Re: POLL: If you were a doctor ...
Dermatologist.
My first choice would be an OB/GYN without the GYN part, but I after talking to my sis in Med school about insurance and lifestyle, I'd go with the dermatologist.

Proctologist. Bahahaha!!
For realz, I think either an anesthesiologist or hematologist.
Here's a good list for anyone struggling: http://differenttypesof.com/doctors
This! I love cardiology, and with my family having a genetic condition that affects the heart it interests me even more so.
I would be an optometrist as well.
Great hours, office setting, pretty low grossness factor, plus I think eyes are super interesting. I have one of the very rare cases of female red-green colorblindness and so does my sister, but it does not affect our more susceptible brother. The rarity of that has made me really interested in the way our eyes work.
Since I'm already studying this field...definitely a psychiatrist.
I'd like to be a therapist - specifically relationship and marriage counseling
I wouldn't be good as a blood and guts type doctor.
Forensic pathologist.
I had a period at the end of college where I considered starting over, changing my major so I could go to med school to do this. And then I visited my grandmother in recovery after a surgery and all of the crying/screaming and I realized I couldn't deal with people like that enough to get through med school to do what I wanted.
#2 would be an otolaryngologist or allergist. I've seen so many at this point that I feel like I could do that job.
Radiologist. I don't do well with the touchy of the sick people.
I could handle 8-5 in a chair. Plus ours make around $600k and get 10 weeks of vacation.
Sold.
This.
Totally and I also don't deal well with the general public especially when I hear stories about J's patients. Nonsense. He deals with such crap with grace. I'd be fired for telling someone off the first day.
So, yea, I'd need a no/low patient-contact position like Radiology.

Same here, or child therapist
