Re: What Day in 2011....

  • 1) Would you like to relive again? 8/26, the day my niece was born

    2)  Would you rather not remember?  every month when  AF arrived

    3)  Was the best holiday? Christmas. Watching my 3 yo nephew open everyone's gifts was the best.

    4)  Was a day you were really sad? 2 weeks ago. DH's bff's mom funeral.

    5)  Was a day you were really happy?   12/16, when I planned my trip to NYC with my dad.

    6) Was a day you.... wished happened....wish I got  a + hpt.

  • I'm very bored this week so I'm putting some thought into this lol.

    1) Would you like to relive again? When we spent the day at a little private beach in the Bahamas with our friends we were traveling with. We came back on the ship after that and played cards and drinking games in our robes until dinner time b/c it had started to rain. We had a blast.

    2)  Would you rather not remember? Pretty much the whole time period DH was gone in Jan/Feb. I don't do well on my own it turns out. This is also tied with Monday. Shingles blow.

    3)  Was the best holiday? Looking back my holidays were kind of odd this year and Thanksgiving was different but it was good. We had turkey burgers and wine and hung out in the hot tub with our friends.

    4)  Was a day you were really sad? The day I found out I didn't get the job I had counted on was not a good day. I was crying at work and a mess for quite a few weeks. Not good times.

    5)  Was a day you were really happy? My whole day at the WWOHP. I felt like a little kid.

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • 1) Would you like to relive again? Tessa's birth...I regret getting the epidural, and I'm pretty sure I would've been just fine without it. It is still bothering me 2 months later and I don't know how to get over it.

    2)  Would you rather not remember? Nothing too bad happened this year, thankfully!

    3)  Was the best holiday? Christmas---it's always my favorite time of year and seeing how happy Taryn was made me smile.

    4)  Was a day you were really sad? Like I said, nothing too bad happened this year and I'm really thankful for that.

    5)  Was a day you were really happy? The dayI got a positive pregnancy test and then again the day I gave birth to my second baby girl :)

    1) Would you like to relive again? a great vacation with a bunch of friends to Mexico in June...picking one day would oddly be the day it rained and we all drank champagne for hours in our room and had a great time.

    2)  Would you rather not remember? watching FIL die.

    3)  Was the best holiday? Thanksgiving? I don't know...we get together with friends and family a lot so the actual holidays aren't necessarily any different. I'd probably actually go for Christmas Eve. first time all of H's side of the family were all in one place since FIL died and we were all at his house. Pretty special that everyone, including spouses and people who live far away, were all in one place.

    4)  Was a day you were really sad? about a four week period in the hospital with FIL. probably the night he died.

    5)  Was a day you were really happy? another strange one...at my FIL's viewing the night before the funeral, for just a couple minutes....my parents showed up and I just rushed out to the entry area and was bawling because I was so glad to see them there and so happy to have them. makes me cry a little now to think about it. obviously not an actually happy day but one of the most emotional moments this year.

    6) Was a day you.... wish I could relive??? any day with lots of sunshine, cold drinks, our dogs, and friends/family around!!

A lot of my emotions this year revolved around a four week period in the spring, I guess. I am anxiously awaiting a new year!

  • 1) Would you like to relive again? First weekend in August...WE Fest. Most amazing concert weekend ever and with the LO on the way, we won't be able to go again for quite a few years. :(

    2) Would you rather not remember? The week I was in the hospital in March/my appendix surgery on June 7.

    3) Was the best holiday? Christmas!

    4) Was a day you were really sad? One of the days I was in the hospital. I had a terrible blood draw that morning (it took 3 attempts and really hurt!) and I was in pain and I was bored and lonely. I called DH crying and made him take a long lunch to hang out with me.

    5) Was a day you were really happy? Sept 23...BFP!!

    6) Was a day you.... felt total relief....August 19. After 2 years of subbing and applying for full time jobs, I had an interview for my current job. I was offered the job an hour and a half after my interview. :)

  • 1) Would you like to relive again?

October 21, the day Eloise was born. AMAZING!

One specific beach day in Mexico in June

    2)  Would you rather not remember?

There was a day in March that I got into a HUGE fight with my Dad on the phone. It was not good.

Learning my Grandma's cancer was back

    3)  Was the best holiday? Christmas for sure, being able to share it with Eloise! Although Thanksgiving was good too.

    4)  Was a day you were really sad? I don't know if I would call it sad, but emotional, a lot of days after Eloise was born, HOLY BABY BLUES and hormones!

    5)  Was a day you were really happy?

October 21, when Eloise was born. I'm pretty sure most my answers will be about her!

The day we found out we were pregnant!

Other days were on Christmas when finding out my brother and SIL are pregnant.
