XP- question about bleach and CDs

I know there are quite a few of us on here that CD, and I have not had any responses on the CD board.

Question about bleaching for a yeast infection

DD has a yeast infection.  The pedi told me to put her in disposable diapers while we treat, and then for two days following.  In the mean time she told me to bleach the cloth diapers, and run through the wash/dryer for 2-3 times to make sure I kill all the yeast.

How much bleach do you use?  Also--this may be a stupid question, but what about my beautiful minky blueberries?  I assume the bleach is going to ruin them right?

Re: XP- question about bleach and CDs

  • I think it's 1/4 cup? Is it addressed in the FAQs on there at all?

You may also want to try tea tree oil. I have heard of people using that and keeping their LO in CDs the whole time.

  • Thanks.  It isn't addressed in the FAQs.
  • No idea, but your poor DD. I Hope it clears up soon! Hopefully LadyE will pop in. She knows everything. I had to emergency text her last night for CD help!

I emailed her this morning!  Ha ha ha.  I am waiting to hear back from her.  She does know everything.

  • Sorry!! My phone hasn't been receiving emails (damn you, android!) and DH is home, so I've been busy during the day and only checking my email once at night after DS is in bed.

Obviously I've emailed you back by now. But for any lurkers (they're here, right?), DrL is correct as far as I know. 1/4 cup bleach. I used 1/3 when I was doing just prefolds and Bummis covers.

    1. Clear out FB from your phone.

    2. Delete all texts messages, esp those with photos

    3. Clear storage space on the toolbar.

    4. Hard reset (must go to Verizon)

    5. If it still does it after the hard reset, Verizon will give you a new phone for free. They told me that several cases of the Droids were having this issue, but not all of them.

    GL!!

  • I have tried deleting all of my messages and that didn't work :-(. Do I need to delete and re-install the whole FB app?
