I dont know if somebody posted this already but do you have any New Year resolutions for 2012?
Re: New Year resolutions
Yes! Continue to heal from my divorce, including building up my self esteem and realize that I deserve good things in life. This is one resolution that can set me up only for success
I'd also like those 10 lbs that I've been battling to lose to finally go away but the above is more important to me
I would like to finish the book that I started writing two years ago.
I would like to start to exercise again.
I want to try to do something interesting or new every week. Especially during the first few months of the year, I dont really do anything because it is cold outside. I always say that I am going to wait until spring or summer but I am going to try to live more in the moment.
Become more organized.
I want to get back into running, I started the C25K program again. I did it once so I'm sure I can do it again, I just have to find the time and get E to let me
I may end up having to do two runs a week on the treadmill to start, then when E is a bit bigger I'l start using the jogging stroller.
To go along with the above I want to get rid of my mumma pooch.
I'd like to get into the habit of exercising regularly (not just on a whether I feel like it basis)--my snowshoes are supposed to arrive today! So hopefully that starts soon.
I would like to create a sense of balance in my life--between social time and self-care time. DH is very extroverted and while he's on winter break we have had an insane schedule... so balance is a goal.
I've had an idea for an art exhibit brewing for awhile and I think I have an opportunity to pull it together this spring, so I also want to take advantage of that.
I'm sure there's more, but that's it for now
I want to learn to feel better about my body.
I have asked DH to do one non-errand activity with me every weekend.
I want to visit 10 National Trust sites before the year's end (I got a membership for Christmas).
I'd like to start saving since we should finally have enough to do so (we will pay off our credit card debt next month--what a relief!).
