TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermlol I think the majority of people break them, so at least you aren't alone on this one
From your ticker you seem to be doing an amazing job losing weight already, so maybe that trend will easily flow into 2012.
My resolutions are going to be to drink less alcohol and try to lose between 40-50lbs. It's not like I'm boozing it up every night or anything now, but I want to limit myself to special occasions or the random 'I've had a crappy day and need a drink" moments rather than drinking socially with friends on the weekends more often than not. This will help me 1)save money 2)lose weight 3)be able to be picky about what I drink...I wont have to feel bad buying an expensive bottle of wine if I only do it once in a while.
The losing weight is an obvious one that I need to work on, but I've also started thinking that I am 27 years old and if we ever decide to have kids I'd like to do it by the time I'm 30ish, and my doctor has told me that my chances of getting pregnant (we both have some fertility issues) would be better if I lost some weight, so I figure might as well start working on that now. If we don't go the baby route, at least I'll be healthier and get to buy new clothes
Thanks Xan. The weight loss is going well - and I only gained one pound over the holidays!!!
Trying to get pregnant and having a healthy pregnancy are my main reasons for the weight loss as well.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI've given up on trying to make a NY resolution. I always break them, so the past couple years I haven't bothered.
Of course with that being said, I am going to try to be a little less lazy about my appearance. I got a ton of nail polish and jewelry for Christmas, so I'm going to try and be good about how I present myself.
I should copy you on this. Sometimes I'll get super into my appearance and really try to look nice every day, and then other times I go to work with my hair barely brushed lol.
I haven't made any real "resolutions" - I never really do.
But I like to set goals throughout the year that are sort of smaller than full blown resolutions (I can't stand the pressure big life changing resolutions). So of course I have a newish set since it's the beginning of the year.
- Work out 6 days a week (3x running, 1x yoga, 1x zumba, 1x strength)
- Drink more water!!!
- Ran at least 3 half marathons, two of which I've registered for already
- Get more consistent with calorie tracking and get a good idea of where I'm at with my daily intake and burn
- Close on a house
- Pay off DHs car
- Build more savings
bloggity blog
I should steal this one too. I can't remember the last time I actually did my hair for anything. It is either straight down or in a ponytail.
I don't usually do resolutions either but by default I will be eating better. DH joined weight watchers so we've definitely upped the fruits and veggies in our house. I thought we ate enough of them before.
DH and I established a financial budget for 2012. We have projected what our monthly expenses would be and will be putting in the actual expenses as each month passes. We have also made a spreadsheet for our savings account goals per month. If anything doing this will allow us to see where all our money goes and hopefully find a way to save some.
I did well last year with one of mine, until my oven broke (it was to try at least one new recipe a week)...
This year I am going to lose up to 50 pounds (losing until I get pregnant), keep up with my laundry, and be more strict at work
