Does IKEA have toddler beds?

I feel like I saw some when I was there, but their website talks about "extendable beds" and I am not sure what that means.

I was planning on skipping the toddler bed, but now I am thinking with DD and baby #2 sharing a room it would save a lot of space vs. going straight to a twin.

Re: Does IKEA have toddler beds?

  • They do but they are not the size of a standard crib like most toddler beds. They're somewhere between a crib and twin size wise. Cribs are WAY smaller than twin beds space wise. The Ikea toddler beds are somewhat smaller but not a whole lot. Personally, I love the size. They'll last a lot longer than a crib size toddler bed but they definitely still save space. The only downside is you have to buy bedding from Ikea because nothing else will fit.

    Good to know, thanks!
