There were a couple of polls on another board I frequent, "What are your goals for 2012?" and "What were your 2011 accomplishments?"
I just realized that I don't feel like I made ANY accomplishments in 2011. Nothing has happened, nothing has changed for the better, I haven't gone anywhere or done anything or...ANYTHING.

That's so freaking depressing.
Re: Sobering fact
Same for me. 2011 was supposed to be a big year and instead, I haven't made any progress. Rather the opposite.
Hang in there, let's hope 2012 will be better. I like even years better.
well, try to focus on the things you successfully avoided.
This year I, personally avoided a lot of things:
death
imprisonment
major illness
committing murder/bodily harm to another person
embezzlement
drunk driving
getting fired
severing a major limb
crashing my car
falling down stairs
peeing in public
paying retail
doing drugs
stealing
I'm feeling pretty good about myself right about now
This is the best thing ever....I may read it everyday!
It made me lol...so thanks for that!! I particularly like the "paying retail" one....
I feel like the above are specifically good accomplishments in my life.
Same here. I finally got some self esteem and realized that I need to live for myself, not for anyone else... I now have an ex husband and my happiness, and those two things make me proud.
Did you make any goals for 2011?
What do you plan to do in 2012 such that this year will be different?
