Highlights of your 2011 Year!

- My Baby Boy! He has been a joy to have and every day I love him even more!
- New Job. Praise the Lord for the switch. I'm just overall happier on the career front.
- New job for DH. For once he has a job where they treat him well, everyone gets along, he enjoys what he does. He's found a really great fit! They are like a little family.
- Daycare for E. Evan has grown so much since putting him in daycare this year. His language and personality have exploded.
- New baby
When 2011 started I would have said NO WAY to having another baby this year but here we are, less than 5 weeks away and we couldn't be happier.
- New dog. As much as Alfie drives me bonkers he's a great dog. He's got us all under his spell. It's been so good for Evan to have a dog too.

- Our first, true family vacation to South Dakota
- January marked the official start of my business and in November, I signed a contract on a studio space
- New car
- Total new exterior of home taking place right now (THIS is super exciting!)
- New carpet
The home improvements probably sound boring, but they're the most exciting! (OK, the 2nd most exciting. . .)
-New job for me and DH (although he is still looking for something better)
-One of my brothers moved to Omaha
-Lots of repainting in our house and repainted kitchen cabinets
- M started kindergarten, T started preschool
- Vacation to OBX with my fam for the 2nd year in a row... so fun to be with my sibs and their families with no real cares in the world.
- trip with DH to Chicago (even if it was right after the blizzard there). So nice to have time just the 2 of us.
- beach/dock/ boat renovations
- BFF got engaged after dating her FI for 12 years
- Ditto new baby! He is such a happy little dude.
- New car to us at the start of the year.
- Making a super high percent profit on a project that I bid and project managed. And looking at my end of the year total billed and being happy with the amount, especially when I was technically off for 9 weeks.
- Two amazing tropical vacations with DH.
- Promotion at work
- New car for DH
- Backyard patio project
- Photography, 26 weddings completed, and just signed a lease on new space in December!
- Became DEBT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finding the perfect balance between home and work.
- Last year in my 20s!!
- Became a mommy to the most beautiful, happy baby boy
- Got to spend time catching up with a great friend during walks over my maternity leave.
- DH graduated with his Masters degree and got a job with normal hours!!! (first time he'll have worked an 8-5 M-F job since I've known him!)
- Finding out 2 good friends are pregnant
- little sister got married
This was a DAMN good year! Hopefully 2012 will bring just as much - if not more good times!!
Becoming a mommy and finding an amazing daycare that makes it easier to go to work every day.

Starting off the year with the best birthday/dream come true gift ever--Lyra!
Realizing that I could never work outside of the home and be a mom.
Thankful I am given that opportunity to stay home with Lyra and able to enjoy every day with her.
Glad all of our home projects from 2011 are done (minus a few touch-ups)

Two of my sisters found out they were pregnant
Watching DD start walking and actually having a crawler since DS was a scooter
Deciding to get out of this house (now just getting it ready for the market)
DH working out of state for 2 1/2 months was bittersweet. Sucked that he was gone but got us in a better financial situation towards our goal of moving/paying down debt.
-H switched departments/locations at work and is much happier
-I got promoted
-Renovated our kitchen and I absolutely love the results
-paid off car and SLs
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
- First full year of living in Omaha - we're very happy here, just need to get out more to meet people since I'm a SAHM & DH works from home or on the road.
- Buying a really nice new to us minivan & becoming a one vehicle family. It works for us since DH rents cars for when he has to travel for work.
- N starting Kindergarten and E starting Preschool.
Holy cow, we're going to have a little sister!!
