My life in a nutshell - since the past year I was laid off from my job, got a nephew, got a new job, got promoted, had jaw expansion surgery.
How are you? Looks like you have a little one now - congrats!

Hi Mames - sounds like you had a busy year! Congrats on the job and nephew!
I think I stopped posting regularly when I was dissertating. My summary: I got KU a few months before my final writing deadline for my dissertation, finished writing, defended a few weeks before my due date, had an awesome little girl Jan 19, have been looking for a job for the past year (trying to stay in NY but there aren't many jobs in my field).
And we still haven't made a wedding album or printed out any pictures.

Since the wedding DH and I have moved across the country. I left my job just before the move and never found one out here before I got pregnant. Our son was born this past September.
BFP#2 2.5.11 (EDD 10.15.11) DS born 9.28.11 due to Pre-E
BFP#3 10.2.12 (EDD 6.12.13) MMC 11.24.12 @11.5w, had passed in 7th week

I check back every now and again! Life has been busy, I now work two jobs with the hope of decreasing to the one I prefer after our little one is born. I'm working on specializing in feeding and swallowing, which has been great. I do consult work one day/week and then work my early intervention job 3 1/2 days/week. It is busy! DH and I are taking our time with the house but need to do some serious rearranging before the baby arrives! I'm due in June and super excited, as is the hubs.
Glad to see you're all doing well!! Congrats on the LO's Zee & JB!!

Barb - we finally baby-proofed a couple of months ago. About 2 weeks later, DD pulled off all the foam we put on corners and sharp edges.

JB, you son is adorable!
As for me, I became a SAHM after A was born in April 2010. We are expecting #2 in May! It is nice to see how everyone is doing.

My year was a lot like Mamie's... except the nephew is a niece, I didn't get promoted at the new job yet (just started three weeks ago, but LOVE), and the surgery was on my back in 2010... so I've been doing PT and testing exercise this year.
