cleaning dishwasher with lemonade?
I'm going to try this. I was wondering if it had to be an actual Kool-aid packet. We have a container of powdered lemonade mix, but it has sugar in it. Does it matter if it has sugar? TIA!

It's the citric acid in the "lemon" flavor. You can also use Lemi-Shine (available at the grocery store next to the dish detergent) or buy actual citric acid on Amazon. (If you are dumb like me and think it's a dangerous chemical, it's not. lol It is used in canning and a million other food things.) Just make sure to buy food-grade citric acid if you go that route.
And let me tell you, it is AMAZING if you have hard water. I use it every cycle.
