I know, I know. Like everyone else, I always make them and rarely stick to them. I won't even bother making a weight loss one.
Mine are:
Increase savings, retirement, and start investing. Also, pay off more debt.
Hike a new Mountain.
Bike a century ride (100 mi).
Read 52 books.
Get a new job or promotion.

Re: NY Resolutions?
Mine is not to make one so I won't be upset with myself for not sticking to it.
But if I was to make one it would be happier with where H and I are in our lives, we have a lot more than some of our friends and much more than what our parents has at 27 and 28.
Not so much to lose weight (although I really want that too!) so much as to get healthier. Start eating better, exercising, drinking more water, etc.
Keep my nails done so I won't bite/pick.
Get cc's paid down to 50% of what they are now, hopefully more.
Continue to do well at work to get good commission checks, thus building savings.
Get Ellie potty trained.
Assuming I'm not pregnant this cycle, I plan to do some form of exercise 4 days a week, and watch what I eat so I can lose some excess weight.
I also plan to pick up extra hours at work more consistently to help pay down student loans.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
I really hope I hit all my goals this year. So far we have...
Pay off 3 out of 4 credit cards (I know, I know)
Have my medical bill paid off 3 months early
Read 25 books
Bowl a 190 or better
Get more hours at work
Run another 5k since the half is not happening anymore
I usually don't make reolutions because I never stick with them but this year I've set 2.
1. To read more, I think I only ready maybe 1 or 2 books this year. I set my goal small, with 25
2. Eat healthier
Mine always go down the tubes as well, but I've set a weight loss one this year.
I've made it pretty vague, but it's just to start eating healthier, cut out pop again, exercise more and drop some weight. I truly don't care how much, but I'm shooting for around 20 pounds. I need to lose about 45, but I'd be happy with 20....at least then I'd be my wedding weight.
I need to drop a few pounds as well, but we eat pretty good, so this is more specific to getting a more regular workout/gym routine.
I WILL quit my job in 2012.
Also hope to go part-time by May.
I have several foodie goals, like making souffle, homemade marshmallows, mastering pie crust, and trying lots of new things like foie gras, more indian food, pho, etc. And I guess adapting to my newfound lactose intolerance.
Back to WW on Monday means it's time to get back on track. My goal is to at least hit pre-wedding weight by the end of the year.
This is the year of debt-free MB... no excessive spending on myself whatsoever, and my main goal is to not only get my credit cards down, but to finally create that little buffer I've always wanted in my personal account so I can get to that comfortable spending money point.
I say it every year, but I really want to make an effort to take better care of myself skin-and-hair wise... I feel like I make this one every year, but hey, at least the effort is still there.
And finally I just want to get the house cleaned and finsihed to a point where I won't be embarrassed should someone just decide to visit... our basement is a mess, we want to make a play area for Sam, there are pictures and frames I need to just hang up once and for all, and just so much crap that needs to be thrown away.

I want to get a new job. My current job pays well and I like my coworkers, but I just can't do the work anymore. It's almost toxic. I need a change.
I need to get back into running. Running used to be my identity, now I haven't done any serious running in well over a year. I just need to sign up for a half-marathon to force myself to start up again.
Like MB, I want our house to be cleaned and relatively "finished" so that visitors are always welcome. My main goal though is to print out all the beautiful photos I've been meaning to frame and get them up on the damn wall. I need to just hang them already and stop trying to arrange them in a perfect gallery.
Not resolutions, but things I started doing over the last few months that I hope to keep up:
Eat more healthful foods
Grow my hair out
Start dressing like an adult, but still maintain my beach aesthetic
Be a better friend
Reach savings goal so we can buy a house in Spring 2013
- Pay off bills
- Start a "house fund"
- Lose weight
