Happy New Year = I need a new dryer!

Looking for recommendations on a new dryer, mine is less than 5 years old and has been giving us grief for the past two years. We have an LG large capacity electric dryer, I don't know the model off the top of my head, but it cost $1100 when we bought it, it keeps throwing an error code LE1 and then turns off. I have googled the code, and it says its a bad neutral wire. Stevie has checked it and the wire is good! Ugghhhh happy new year = dryer shopping!

Any suggestions on a new dryer that will dry the large capacity lg washer that goes with my set? Also, I'm short on space, so it would be ideal to stack with the current washer. I really don't want another LG after this, but perhaps they have fixed the glitch!

Why don't you just call a repair man?  Those people still exist.  Unless, of course, you like to throw money around!

My thoughts exactly. I would not be too happy if mine were only 5 years old and needing to be replaced. If nothing else, contact LG and see what options you have...

I did, no such code exists according to them, I found other peoples similar responses for the same non-existant code saying it was the neutral wire on the plug, we have already replaced it to no avail! LG says that they want $250 to come out and look at it, then $175/hour to repair, for that price I can get a new one!
