Just wanted to say thanks for referring me to Town Shop (pe?). I finally went in for a fitting today and wow, you were right. Those ladies really do know what you're talking about.
I'm all sad that I have to purchase new stuff. Yet again...::sigh:: but at least I know my "real" size now.
Thanks again.
Re: ***********MD************
Yay, I'm glad you had a good experience! If you're a bizarre size, you can order on Bare Necessities - like every place right now, they're running a new sale just about every day, so now is a good time to stock up!
Of course, since you're just around the corner from Town Shop, it's probably really easy to swing by there.
Does 30DD count as a bizarre size?
No, really. I almost fell over in shock when she told me. I'm not joking when I say that last, oh, I don't know, Septemeber maybe? - I was a 34A. Now I'm apparently a 32D, with some styles being a 30DD, and some being a 34C, depending on the cut.
WTH.
Screw BC. Screw going to the gym. Screw weight fluctuation. And especially screw all those people who constantly tell me how "lucky" I am to be thin. When you're thin, ANY time you gain or lose weight even the smallest bit of weight, your breasts change size - sometimes radically. Which necessitates buying new bras. And I'm getting tired of spending all of my money on different sizes of lingerie! ::grumble::
Haha, yeah. I went with my friend. In UK sizes, she's a 30E (30DDD in American), and I'm a 30F (30G in American). I give our UK sizes b/c I don't think any American brands make bras in our size.
So, welcome to our club!
The important thing is buying the right band size and not getting a cup size too small. You shouldn't be gaining or losing a lot of inches around your rib cage, so the number part shouldn't change unless you drastically gain weight. I imagine you'll be good for a while with the 30DDs until you get pregnant.
