Follow up to T&P

I had my follow up appointment on Friday and after checking my BP, the doctor decided to send us to L&D for monitoring and to start a 24 hour urine collection. We spent a few hours downstairs before he admitted me to be watched overnight and finish the collection. I had a horrible migraine on Friday night, was insanely sick most of the night and had high BPs. Unfortunately my 24 urine came back positive for preeclampsia, but it's at least on the mild side.

The doctors decided to keep me in the hospital for 24 hour monitoring for the preeclampsia. The good news is that I'll be full term on Friday, so we're inducing or doing a C-section on the 6th depending on baby's position. I'm already getting bored around here though and I miss my cats! The baby is doing really well though and has had great NSTs, so at least I know she's doing just fine.

Oh my goodness! Well it sounds like you are in good hands at the hospital and that baby is doing well. You are so close to full term that baby will do great, they thrive much earlier. Hang in there and please keep us updated! more t&p's coming your way! It will all be worth it!!

Oh and my 2 cents, the scheduled c section reduces a lot of stress and worry. My baby was out in 8 minutes literally. It's not ideal but it has a lot of benefits if it's necessary. Good luck!! (hugs)
