Movie--Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (I am a total Harry Potter nerd and this did it for me)
TV Show--American Horror Story
Song--I had a lot
Album--I don't buy many CD's but I bought the newest Lady Gaga one and I can honestly say I love all of the songs.
Random Celebrity Moment--I would say the Charlie Sheen going completely nutty (we all expected it but it was kind of fun to watch)
Random--I also LOVE watching the Kardashians and I feel that the owned 2011. I don't think they deserve all the attention they get, but I am totally guilty.
Movie - Ugh, lots of good ones...I think I'll go with Bridesmaids as my favorite
TV Show - Sons of Anarchy
Song - The Cave by Mumford and Sons
Album - Sign No More by Mumford and Sons - I love everything about the entire album.
Random celebrity moment - Hmmmm, I'll have to think about this one.
Anything else you want to add? I loved all the pomp of the Royal Wedding, loved seeing a singer who can actually sing get so much credit (Adele), and was happy that my theory that a good movie can make any story interesting seems to be holding up (The King's Speech, Meek's Cutoff, etc).

Movie - Hmm tough. I will say one that surprised me was Take Me Home Tonight. I definitely did not think it would be as good as it was.

Anything else you want to add? The whole Kim Kardashian marriage was an interesting storyline this year. It had you wondering if it was a stunt or if things really just didn't work out.

Anything else you want to add? I am proud to say that I have never watched any of the Kardashian crap/scam wedding.
Movie - I don't get out to see movies except with my daughter, but I loved Lion King in 3D and also seeing Tangled with her on my bday last January. Beauty & the Beast is coming out in 3D in a couple weeks, and I love seeing these classic Disney movies in 3D on the big screen with her.
TV Show -discovered Walking Dead, was very happy we stumbled across it (no pun intended!)

Movie - This is hard. I'd probably have said Bridesmaids last week but after seeing and still feeling the effects of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo I'd pick that. Or HP 7.2 because it made me want to start reading the books..

Random celebrity moment - I don't know if it counts but I'd say the death of Amy Winehouse was a sad moment this year. I hope it was a wake up call to at least some people that have driven down that same path..

Album - I thoroughly enjoyed Michael Buble's Christmas album
Random celebrity moment - Not really a fan of most celebrities as I feel they are overpaid and overrated. I remember when the paparazzi wasn't so out of control and following their every move. I have a lot of respect for the celebrities who value their private lives and don't become paparazzi magnets. But ditto pp who mentioned how Beyonce revealed her pregnancy... that was pretty neat and unexpected.
Anything else you want to add? I am more than ready for the Kardashians to go away. From all the comments I see about them, they are definitely hated a lot more than they are loved.

Movie - I think my favorite movie this year was probably the latest Harry Potter. I didn't see a ton of new movies this year, but this one was awesome, IMO.
TV Show - I just started watching several shows this year that have been on for a while, and the ones I have loved the most are Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Rookie Blue, and Castle. I think Castle is probably my favorite by a narrow margin. As for new-this-year shows, I really enjoy Unforgettable, Prime Suspect (which, sadly, has disappeared from NBC's line-up), and A Gifted Man. Yes, I watch a LOT of TV.
Song - I really like the new Lady Antebellum song, "We Owned the Night." I also was obsessed with "Jar of Hearts" for quite a while. I have also become a big Adele fan, along with the rest of the world. I also love several songs on the newest Indigo Girls CD, Beauty Queen Sister.
Album - I would have to say that the new Indigo Girls CD was awesome for me. I also bought both of Adele's CDs and love them!
Random celebrity moment - The Charlie Sheen thing was entertaining, until it wasn't anymore. Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann adopting two babies within six months was of interest to me, as was Connie Britton's adoption of her baby. Mariska Hargitay and Connie Britton are both subjects of enormous girl-crushes for me, and I was excited for both of them.
Anything else you want to add? I am so glad that 2011 was over, but it did fulfill me in the world of entertainment!
Movie - HP and Deathly Hallows Part 2 - so sad that it's over
TV Show - Terra Nova, it's one of the few shows DH will watch with me! oh and Once Upon a Time, fave new show for sure!
