ugh, thought i was over posting this but....
can someone recommend me their bouncer/swing/activity table? i had the little lamb one for K and I can't remember the name of the activity thing, but just went to go check it out and it apparently was store in our basement and is covered in mold. Now they are all trash.
Re: ugh, thought i was over posting this but....
would you like to borrow my stuff??? i have bouncer, swing, jumperoo, walker....
i love my swing! we have Fisher Price "My Little Snug Bug"
I took everyone else advice and we are using a Fisher Price Jumparoo given by a friend. I was going to go out and buy one but since everyone raved about it. We are using the FP Rainforst Jumparoo.
we arent at this point yet but we have the FP my musical activity table. i basically but the table top on the floor and he bangs on it.
I have the same swing as appletini; love it. The only thing I noticed and so did a lot of girls on my bmb is that the baby may have gotten a funny bald spot (even though I try to limit swing time to daytime naps). We also have the fisher price rock n play, which was a sanity saver in the early weeks. A lot of reviews were scary (not as soft as the swing, could be cause a flat spot that requires the helmet if used too much).
I still have the latest copy of baby bargains if you want me to check out the ratings/reviews on anything for you.
That is the ony thing K slept in for the first three months, and we had no problems with that. I remember seeing that on one review too. People are just always trying to find a cause for things, I doubt that the rock and play is any different than the head being on a crib matress, they are no the softest either.
As far as bouncer, mine is discontinued, but my nephew has the FP giraffe one and it's cute. He has the FP classic pooh swing which is nice too. I never had enough room for the full sized swing so I just used a travel one. They are less than half the price so if you're trying to save that's one way you could.
We had a baby Einstein exersaucer, it was ok. I got it as a gift at my shower but it seemed way overpriced for what it was. k liked it though. I think it is the around the world model.
We have the Carter's bouncy seat which G loved: http://www.amazon.com/Carters-Safari-Friends-Bouncer-Brown/dp/B004UJS5X6/ref=sr_1_3?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1325605308&sr=1-3
For this little guy, we got the Sunggabunny version of the FP Rock and Play as a bassinette. Obviously, we haven't used it yet and it is a brand new, more padded version of the previous yellow Rock and Play so, not a lot of reviews yet: http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Snugabunny-Deluxe-Lightweight-Sleeper/dp/B005IWM73S/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1325605209&sr=8-1-fkmr1
The Evenflo Triple Fun Jungle exersacuer was great too: http://www.amazon.com/Evenflo-ExerSaucer-Triple-Fun-Jungle/dp/B001H0GF10/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1325605265&sr=1-1
