I ordered a small item for my dad for Xmas (cost $8.45). When we got to my parents' house in IL, I realized he didn't need it as he had something similar that served the same purpose. So, got on Amazon to return it and chose the option that said I just didn't need it anymore. I expected to pay shipping but otherwise get a refund or Amazon credit.
Instead, Amazon told me that they would give me a credit but that I do not need to send the item back. In fact, it basically said "keep the item! we'll still give you your credit! thanks for being such a good customer!" etc etc.
So, now I have the item and our refund was processed. Weird right?? But cool.
Re: Strange but cool Amazon story
This! Is it something that you can use?
Not really, but I can give it as a gift in the future I'm sure. It's a coffee bag cap with scoop. The bag cap might work on another product though...
