Fox dropping the SYTYCD results show

I don't think it sounds like this is official yet:

Thoughts? I know that the ratings have dropped but I'm not sure the results show is why. At the same time, I fast forward through almost the entire results show so I wouldn't miss except I don't know how they would structure it otherwise? I remember when they did the fall season there was one or two weeks at the beginning where I think due to World Series or something they didn't do a results show and they just had the judges pick the final three and then solos and dropped one. I wonder if that's the direction they will go?

Interesting. I actually have been reduced to just watching the results show. I do not have that kind of time every week to watch a long show and then a results show. The results show recaps EVERY dance anyway. If I had more time, I'd probably watch the main show and like you said, FF through the restuls show.

I guess they could just announce the winners at the beginning of the following week's show? I never watch it any way, it's annoying that they drag it out an hour to tell us something that takes one sentence. I FF through the whole results show anyway.

If they cut out all the crap before every routine, they'd have plenty of time at the beginning to do last week's bottom three, solos and elimination in about 15 minutes.

I'm fine w/ this. I honestly hate having to watch TWO shows (even though I do FF through a lot of both of them!) every week.

I feel like there was a time with no results show. They filmed it the next day but aired it compressed the following week. So the kids found out the next day so they could practice.

I watch the opening number and then fast forward through pretty much all the rest. I almost never like the performers. The drawn out commentary usually gets obnoxious, so I skip most of it. Yeah, I can do without the results show. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get through.
