I fought the law and the law won
So, last night, Mr. and I were talking and suddenly I had a terrible terrible memory/thought/whatever you want to call it.
Remember I got pulled over like 3 or so months ago in a speed trap? No? You don't keep up with my daily life?
Anyway, I sent in the ticket with the fees and the request for defensive driving. And I forgot all about it. And I have never heard back.
I panicked all night. I called this morning and of course the office is closed.
I am totally going to get arrested.

Is the clerk of the court online? Can you look up their records to see if they've received anything from you?

They almost suspended mine, I'm in fl, bc dh turned right on red and was caught by a red light camera. They never actually mailed me a notice or a ticket, just a letter saying my license was about to be suspended. I check my license status daily now.

It's ok. I am sure it will all be fine.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Seriously though, like 3 years ago I was driving on a bench warrant and only found out when I got some type of solicitation from a bail bondsman. I thought that would give me street cred, but I was just worried.
I had gotten pulled over by a rookie cop in BFE and he just gave me a verbal warning but apparently, he put it in his system as a ticket by accident. So, that was fun. I had to call and talk to the judge who was a total asshhole, but the lt. of the cop department was super nice and understood and they took it off.
But this makes me worry again.
It looks like the first link is just to see about the status of your replacement/renewal DL or ID card, not if it's suspended.
There really is no telling with the city, they will probably just make you pay the fine and not let you take defensive driving although it's clearly not your fault they haven't responded.
