London, what neighborhood(s)
We are going to England in Early May and will be in London for 5 days. We are staying in Southbank near the London Eye and across the river from Houses of Parliment. What neighborhood(s) would you recommend? Likely 1/2 day outings.
Jen - Mom to two December 12 babies

Re: London, what neighborhood(s)
did i post my recs when you originally mentioned this trip? if not, give a shout and i'll re-post.
to me, leicester square and picadilly are like times square - quick stop before getting the hell out of the chaos. i like the hampstead and the heath. greenwich is probably a good 1/2 day trip too. pretty sure you could spend most of a morning or afternoon at the transit museum in covent garden. i am sure some of the londoners will chime in too.

Thanks ladies.
Cheeky, for some reason I could not find my other posts when searching from my laptop (or it might have been on my phone) but I just searched on my home computer and found them. I really appreciate the info. I can finally say we are going "this year".
yay! i haven't been to london in almost three years but it is my favorite city in the whole world. hope you have the best time!
