I chose SS. I have a 12 year old step daughter that lives out of state.
ETA - we're in the we want to have one, one day, but career wise for DH it's not a good time. But we routinely have the it's never a good time talk since we'll both be turning 30 & 35 this year.

I think the board dynamic has changed recently where there are a lot more people TTC, or as we now say on this board TTGTFKU - we had a 'get real' moment months ago joking about people should just say they want to get knocked-up etc. you can guess what the rest of those letters mean
And more people with kids.
I fall in the "I want kids some day but love my freedom and am too busy now" camp. Talking about kids is ok and common I think, but we aren't baby crazy either.
ETA: I see people explained the TTGTFKU

SS - Baby #1 due in February
WRT TheBump -- some of the boards there are awesome, some suck. My birth month board is pretty cool, the 2nd/3rd trimester boards are decent, etc, but a some of 'em are filled with crazies, hahaha. Same as anywhere on the internet, I guess. Regardless, I like it pretty well.
