Greys Anatomy-Worth watching?

I never watched this show when it was on and just found it on my Netflix instant watch, I'm wondering if it's worth watching?  Opinions?

Re: Greys Anatomy-Worth watching?

  • seasons 1-4 are really good, but it declines steadily after that.  I still enjoy it, but recognize it is nowhere near as good as it was originally, especially as several of the primary cast members left the show (or were fired)

  • It's a drama filled drama. I enjoyed the first couple seasons, but then I couldn't take any more. After season 4 I watched a few episodes randomly, but just lost interest.

To answer your question, I'd say start watching it, but know in advance you may lose interest before you have watched it all.

  • I'll agree.  The earlier seasons were the best, and were what brought me into the show.  However they've gone down hill a lot lately, and I'm contemplating not watching when the season returns.  It's the same storylines, and the same characters doing the same thing over and over again.

  • I've stayed loyal to this show but agree with what's been said. It will be easy for you to watch and form your opinion- if I remember correctly, season 1 was only like 9 episodes!
  • I lost interest in the show after the 4th season.  It was really good though!

  • Like the other ladies, I watched the first few seasons and tried to stick with it but I lost interest.  The first few seasons are great, but don't feel bad if you want to give up on it later.

  • I watched the entire series on Hulu Plus last year until I caught up to what was then the current season, and I love it still. Watching the past seasons was REALLY addicting and enjoyable, and I still really enjoy the show. I hope that you love it!

  • I also stopped watching on a regular basis after season 4. Seasons 1 and 2 were especially good. Its a shame, it was such a good show.
