    For serious though, that's how I started running so I think it's a good program and will continue to encourage you to keep at it.  I used an app called Get Running.  I think RunKeeper also does intervals and prompts while still allowing you to listen to music now too (that may require the pro version, I don't know).

    Well, I can't walk from the couch to the kitchen without getting winded and coughing my innards out, but I was going to look into something like that when I was ready, so thank for the recc, Wendy!

  • Wendy in 2008 I completed c25k and ran a few 5k races. I was always very slow but was proud of myself. Then I just quit. Dumb.

  • Make sure you fill up on self loathing before you run.  Regular running is not nearly as fun as hate running.

  • I started a movement from one couch to the other because that's where my cozy warm blanket was. That's as far as I got
  • I need to get my endurance up.  I run 20 to 30 minutes and then move on to an elliptical machine.  I'd like to get my endurance up to run a full hour.  I ran about 50 minutes once, but then I died.  I was dead.  And I run as slow as I am physically able of running.  Which I'm fine with.

  • Me too, C. I want to increase my endurance this year. I am a terrible runner. I like to runasfastasicanstand for a few minutes then I'm winded.

  • Moo, the get running app and run keeper both do that. Runkeeper also let's you track all of your runs on a web based profile to see how you're doing over time. 

     Theres no rule that says only fast people are running. I am slowwwww too, but I think any time that you are getting exercise and being active for yourself is good.

  • Yesterday I nursed a champagne hangover (i had 2 bottles to myself with only cheese and crackers in my stomach),but today I did W1D1.  I hope to be able to keep it up.  I am in terrible shape and want to get better endurance and jus be healthier. 
  • Like Cali, I am also a fan of the hate run. I like to give my belly a good squeeze as motivation.
