Re: QOTD
We only do 1 big holiday meal and that's Christmas Eve at FIL's. It's usually awesome but this year the piece of meat was not as good a cut as he usually gets. It was still good though.
Probably the fish I had out at dinner on Christmas Eve. It was seasoned perfectly, and had some very fresh, chunky salsa over top of it and it was served over fried polenta. Totally not a traditional holiday type of dish, but awesome.

MIL made her beef strogonoff on Christmas Eve, by our request - we love it. I was also proud of my homemade mashed potatoes. And my cake pops rank up there too!
