Resolutions

Do you have any? I have three: 1. Run a full marathon by December 31. 2. Return to pre-DS weight (20lbs to go!) 3. Take my kids on one awesome vacation.

  • I only have a couple. 1. Get back to a weight I am comfortable at. I'm not really setting a number so if I can just get somewhere that I feel normal again I think I'll be fine. 2. Budget. We bought a lot of crap we did not need this past year. 3. DH and I need to take a vacation together. If we don't do it now we never will.

  • 1. Finish NROLFW.

    2. Run at least one (preferably two) 5ks with the pooch.

    3. Jump a horse (any horse) 3'3'' or higher. Last year I did 2'9''... what's another six inches? :)

     

    In a perfect world, I'd drop another 10-20 pounds over the course of the year (okay, who am I kidding... in a perfect world I'd drop 40 and keep it off forever!). But I always seem to fail if I set a specific weight goal. So I won't do it.

  • 1. No house stuff. None.

    2.  Run the relay at the memorial marathan (I only have to run 3 miles but considering I can barely run a block......)

    3.  Stop harrassing my husband via social media outlets.

  • 1. Improve my half marathon time 

    2. Work to be more consistent with Connor wrt rules, particularly to expand his diet beyond chicken, macaroni and cheese, pizza, spaghetti, yogurt, sandwiches, and fruit. 

    3. Try to curb my cursing a bit 

  • Covered most of them in the H/F Challenge post, but here they are:

    1. Lose 40-50lbs (this is the main one...it's time to get this done.)

    2. Continue finding joy in the little things in life.

    3. Save enough money for a good vacation since I don't have classes this summer.

    4. Find my happiness again.

  • I have like 20 so here are the main ones:

    1. Be a better wife-C and I had a really rough year last year so I plan to make this one a lot better.

    2. Be HAPPY-I have so much to be thankful for and I forget that so I am not going to worry about what I don't have and be happy with what I do have

    3. Be a better friend, sister, daughter, aunt and employee

    4. BUDGET-we spend so much $$ on crap its not even funny; plus I am going to put our camper up for sale and boat-they are things we do not need right now and I would rather use the money we spend on those towards paying off other stuff

    5. Don't sweat the small stuff-I over analyze and stress way to much

    6. Forgive and forget those who have done me wrong-its time to get over it and let it go!

  • I have several!

    1. Run at least one half marathon, possible 2-3 depending on how my first one goes.

    2. Run a 5k under 30 minutes.

    3. Finish school! (Hopefully this will happen)

    4. Read more during my breaks from school.

    5. Attend church regularly (we've been slacking the past couple months)

    6. Stick to a budget and save money.

    7. Don't worry so much.

    8. Keep the house clean.

    9. Pray more (which will most likely help with numbers 5 & 7, if not more of them.)

  • I'm not one for resolutions, but I tried to come up with a few. 

    Enjoy whatever life brings. Don't stress about everything.

     Make my bed everyday. I grew up making my bed everyday, then I moved out and totally stopped. It looks so much better when it's made.

    I could probably take my potty mouth down a notch, but what fun is that?

  • 1. Lose some weight

  • Cutting and pasting from a poll below... These are more "goals" than absolute resolutions....

    What goals do you have for yourself for 2012? Baby related: have a healthy baby in three months :) BF for at least six months, lose the baby weight by the end of 2012

    Other: find a new church home, finally get plugged into a community now that we're moving out of our lengthy "transitional" phase of life, make a plan for my career for the next few years (fully focus on getting masters? go back to work in 2013?), connect with some old friends
