Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

anyone help me find playgroups in the area?

One of my resolutions this year is to brave the world outside my lil cave and come out of my introverted self, not so much for me, but to find playmates for DS. We moved here about a year ago and I have focused so much on career stuff, and I have neglected this social aspect of our world. I know most playgroups seem to be for SAHMs, but I do have a weird little schedule where I have Mondays and Fridays off, so I am hoping to find something that might work with those days. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I did check out meetup.com and attended one or two, but the groups seemed huge and it was difficult to get to know anyone.

    Have you checked out Meetup? That's where I found my mom's group.

    look at moxiemoms.com  you have to join but its worth it.  you get all kinds of discounts and there are groups for all facets of life.  They do all kinds of activities and outdoors stuff.

    This sounds so awesome! I wish they had a chapter closer to the Central Denver area, but maybe it would be worth the trek up to Broomfield!

    Pretty sure I have met you at Wash Park and that our boys have shared sand toys.  I work full time but have a flexible schedule (most of the time) maybe we can meet up there sometime.
