Casey Update
So, it's not good news. We took him to the regular vet, who took one look at him and sent us directly to the veterinary emergency center. He has a really bad infection, most likely caused by the scratch of another dog jumping on him during his walk. The infection has gotten into his blood and has already affected his kidney function and some other organs, but at this point, the vet thinks it may be reversible. He will have to stay at the hospital at least overnight--we'll know by this time tomorrow whether the treatment is helping. If it is is, he may have to stay a few more days, and if not, there is not much else we can do. Any vibes you ladies have are greatly appreciated!
