First day back to work from the holidays.
I am seriously dragging this afternoon. I did not get enough sleep last night and I am exhausted today. I am counting the minutes down until I can leave and not look like I am cutting out early.
Anybody else back today and struggling to get through the day?

Next week is going to suck, it will be the first week in 4 weeks that I have will have had to work for 5 whole days in a row.
This time of year makes me realize how badly I would love to just quit.

I actually ended up having to 'give back' my vacation days last week to go to work to work on this huge project that's launching this week. I was dreading coming back today b/c it's just picking up with the same craziness. I have been working at full stress level for about 3 weeks and it's getting to me.
Thank god I leave for Florida Saturday (though it's a week with MIL so, yea, kill me now).
Yay for Florida, but Boo that Mil will be there. Where are you going in Florida?
This. I also had to forfeit vacation days because we are no longer allowed to carry over time. And the bitter cold single temps have moved into town. No motivation to get up in the morning.
We are going to Bradenton Beach which is in the Tampa/Sarasota area. It's a balmy 32 degrees there this morning so the sun better figure it out in the coming days so that's warm when we get there, damn it.
We have two condos - one is for B/SIL/niece and MIL and then the other is for DH/Me/Jane. So, hopefully I'll be able to 'escape' MIL some, but not much. We've just had far too much together time lately. I need a break.
