2011 Review & 2012 Plans
Entertain us - what were your high/low lights of 2011? What are your goals/plans for 2012?

Highs - Working out and sticking with it Lows - Eating like crap
This year I BETTER eat well, continue to workout, get my house organized and then go Skiing in Feb, Rio in March, South Florida in May, Turkey and Spain in August.
Haha. Well, I don't want to leave you hanging!
Best: Azlyn growing up and all the fun milestones this year! Walking, talking, and all that fun stuff!
Worst: 3 miscarriages.
best: new england road trip with dh, making a lot of new friends
worst: getting diagnosed with PCOS and the effects from that. struggling with infertility and the painful tests/procedures that have accompanied that. it's really taken a toll on me both emotionally and physically.
goals: get serious about finding a job, do as much as i can to control the weight gain from pcos and my meds, try to have a better outlook on stuff, and spend less time on the interwebz
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Highs - hitting the 100 lb loss mark and coming off of several meds, going to Vegas, getting an awesome new boss, redecorating several rooms in the house
Lows - not really losing anything more, dealing with unplanned home repairs, not making it back to Middle GA to see friends/family enough
Goals for 2012 - cook more at home and seek out more variety while still being healthy, get to the gym more or break down and buy an elliptical (and figure out WTF to put it), complete Battle Wallpaper: Part 3 - The Kitchen

2011 Highs:
Moving to Vinings. Best decision evar. We are so much happier in our little Cobb/ATL bubble.
Getting KU.
Traveling.
2011 Lows:
not buying a house like we wanted. Then deciding that maybe being a renter isn't so bad!
Not traveling as much as I wanted.
Not paying down debt as fast as we could have.
2012 plans:
move... again... to a small house rental.
I feel bad living in an apt with a newborn! This way we get to try new neighborhoods. If it doesn't fit, we can try another!

Highs: Road trips through Spain, and the Georgia coast, feeling grown up and buying a new car for DH. Taking up running as a hobby and running a few 5k's. Changing dieting habits and noticing a change. Cooking a ton. Spending lots of time in Piedmont park enjoying the out doors. Paying off all Credit cards.
Lows: realizing we spent way to much money on dining out. Cutting that crap out. Realizing my brother will never really be around. Hurting my ankle really bad. This year hasn't been bad.
Plans: Take a vacation somewhere amazing for Dh's 30th birthday. Run a 10k maybe more. Keep up eating healthy. Save money.
2011 Highs - Getting a full time job that didn't pay crap. Going to WY for vacation this summer and having S. fall in love with it. Finally getting new Pergo flooring for the living room, goodbye nasty carpet!
2011 Lows - Neither DH or I being particulary happy with our jobs, but not being able to find anyting better (so far). Not making as much progress on our debt as we wanted. Selling my car and getting Gigantor van (although is has grown on me). Generally 2011 was kinda sucky
2012 Plans - get KU (hopefully!) Get DH a new job (at the very least), and pay down rest of consumer debt at least by half. Oh, and mama needs a vacay in the worst way. As soon as they let me have time off here, we're going somewhere fun (but who knows what that is right now)!
2011 Lows - DH in hospital, dh being out of work for majority of the year, dipping really hard into our savings, finding out i'm losing my job
2011 Highs - getting baptized, dh finally getting a job, our relationship getting that much stronger
2012 plans - get a new job, keep my new year's resolution
lows: mom's best friend killed herself. our friends lost their baby. my great-aunt died suddenly. my sister started talking to her ex that i hate again. getting a positive HPV test.
highs: we got half our bathroom done. i got to tell my old station to go eff themselves.
2012 plans: save money. get stuff done at the house. get my etsy shop going. maybe start TTC.

I'm with you. I'm still not convinced I am a mom - I feel like I just have a baby I have to take care of.
My highs for 2011 - baby K coming into our lives, knocking out a good chunk of credit card debt
Lows - a friend losing her baby, FIL's stroke, continued drama with ILs
Goals for 2012 - keep the baby weight off, pay off CC debt, meet my hours expectations at work
Baby K ~ born July 1
1. I am officially calling out this post as a thinly veiled attempt to get people to reveal their TTC plans.
2. I think that the wanna-be-moms and moms-to-be on the Atlanta nestie board are going to be kick-@ss moms, whether they think they are "not old enough" or not.
3. Okay I'll play.
Highs = going back to school and our family trip to Ireland.
Lows = My uncle passing away, DH's friend passing away, both of my grandmas being in very poor health
4. Run the Peachtree this summer, publish the research/policy paper I'm working on, finish my masters degree, and maybe some other stuff.
