Talk to me about digital scrapbooking...
I have made paper scrapbooks for years but I want to try some digital scrapbooking. Ideally, I want to be able to make some individual digital layouts printed to add to my regular scrapbooks. Where is the best place to print individual 12x12 pages? And where is a good place to get quality digital backgrounds, embellishments, templates, etc? I already have photoshop and publisher so do I really need another program? thanks for any insight!
Re: Talk to me about digital scrapbooking...
Photoshop will be great for digital scrapbooking so no need to get any other software program.
There are several place to print your pages or books of your pages. I like Scrapping Simply (they have several sales each year) but others print at Costco or Persnickety Prints. The daily digi (www.thedailydigi.com) has an article about printing on the site as well as several tutorials that can show you what to do.
There are also tutorials at www.jessicasprague.com and www.designhousedigital.com. Both of these websites are pretty good, JS.com has lots of fun classes. Both have a freebie section of high quality product so you can try it out without having to buy anything. DHD has a free kit each monday if you sign up for their newsletter too.
These should get you started.
