So I got these for Christmas
. I've only done a quick few stitches to test out the feel of them but am looking forward to playing with them more soon.
I do have a couple of questions:
What do you store yours in? I love the case that my Addis came in (as you might remember, I'm the crazy person that got the Addis partly because of the case in the first place) and wish the Harmonies had something similar and more protective than the plastic bag they were shipped with.
Can you not join the cables to create longer ones? This is a great feature of the Addis but it doesn't look like the Harmonies have any accessories that allow you to do this. I guess you just have to buy longer cables separately?
Any tips, tricks, etc. you want to share?

Re: Questions for Harmony interchangeable circ owners
I cannot help with the needle specific questions, but I made this for my mom - if you sew or know someone who does and is willing to make it

I have also seen these cases at a lot of shops:

I just keep mine in the plastic envelope thing--but shut in a cabinet where the naughty kitties can't get them.
No, I don't think you can join the cables--they do have some pretty big cables, though, and they don't kink like other circulars do.
You might find that you have some difficulty connecting the pieces, compared to the Clicks, anyway. I keep a rubber band in my plastic envelope to get a better grip on the metal part of the tip.

Posting late, but wanted to add that you can combine cable lengths. Knitpicks sells a cable connector set -- three connectors in a set. Unfortunately it does not come with the sets, so you have to buy it separately, but it only costs $1.99.

Thank you!
I currently store mine in the plastic case they came in. I might ask my SIL to make me a case for them
Thank to PP who posted the cable connectors!
And to ask my own question: what is the little loop-ended key for? Don't the needles just screw into the cables? Or am I missing something?
It's to help you connect the two more securely. Basically, it gives you leverage. You stick it into the little hole between the needles and the cable and just use it to push for a tighter join. I think there are instructions in the little baggie the cables came in.
