Re: POLL: Your bedroom
It's horrid. Clothes everywhere, hair and make-up products all over the dresser. You wouldn't guess it from my OCD throughout the rest of the house. It's so bad DH doesn't use it for anything but sleeping in. All his stuff is in his office closet.
Cut the Crap - Weight loss journey of a Few Fat Chicks
I like surfaces clean so that I can see what I need to get ready in the morning so I try to keep my dressers and vanity somewhat organized.
The floor is another story with hampers and clothing and shoes, etc. The bed is never made unless we're hosting something.
I had much more motivation when you could see our bedroom from the door in our apartment. It has gone downhill now that it's upstairs. I probably fall somewhere in the middle.
I should post a picture of the wall with our closets.
DHs: Closet door always closed, laundry basket inside, clothes all hung neatly.
Mine: Door open, burping up clothes on to the floor. Landry basket outside, also spilling out clothes.
The only time my closet door is closed is the day I do laundry and pick everything up. It's bad. BUT, in my defense, I got to bed pretty much every night after DH so I take things off and either put in laundry or kind of just put into a neat pile. I don't want to bang around opening drawers, etc.
I try but its on the small sound so it constantly feels cluttered. Like Trickey my H only sleeps there as my stuff pretty much takes over the room. The joys of being a girl.
I make the bed days when H works and leaves before me. Otherwise it stays unmade and drives me crazy. To me it makes the room seems so much cleaner and I prefer coming home and climbing into a made bed.
My Blog
Ours is so small that there isnt even room for a mess. No floor space whatsoever. DH has a few PJ's on the floor usually but that's it. I guess that could be seen as the only benefit to having such a terribly small bedroom.
Our bedroom is in pretty bad shape right now. There are tons of dirty clothes on the floor. Our bed hasn't been made in months. There is all kinds of clutter on the dresser. There is also a big stack of clothes on top of our chest of drawers as well. I have some plastic drawer things on my side of the closet and they are stuffed full so I can't even close them all the way.
It's bad.
