ETTM: David Barton Gym
I don't get David Barton Gym. At all.
First off, I feel like I'm going to have a seizure with the flashing boxes on their website.
Second of all, if I wanted to go clubbing I would. I don't need a DJ spinning while I'm working out. I have an mp3 player, thankyouverymuch.
Third of all, why would they bring mini cupcakes to lure corporate clients? Skimpy dressed 19 year old girls I get, but mini cupcakes? You're a freaking gym. Come on!
Fourth of all, the people that I see there look like they are still wearing a full face of make up.

ooh lucky you got to check it out. yeah, it definately seems like a meet and greet disguised as a gym. I wouldn't mind a dj spinning, especially while I Zumba

I don't get it either. Our company offers a "discounted" corporate rate with them, and it's well over half of what it costs me to go to my gym. I've never been inside, but I drive by it every day. Once in a while I'll see one, maybe two people on the machines, but it always looks so empty. It really does sound like more of a meet and greet disguised as a gym.
Plus, it's in the same building as Trophy Cupcakes. That, for me, would defeat the whole purpose of working out...
