Decorating help

So I have this photo wall in my living room above my couch. I might add a few frames to the sides, but for now, it is what it is.

I know it's a touch high, but V is a klutz and wanted it that way, and it doesn't bother me *too* much. But I thought of maybe filling in underneath the gallery a bit with a wall decal of a quote or something - good idea? Or cheesy and obvious?

Also: Sherlock is so darn lazy Big Smile

Re: Decorating help

  • Sherlock is adorable.

I think a scroll-y decal would look nice.  Maybe a little shorter than the length of the frames.

  • I like your frame placement! It's a smidge high, but in my opinion if you put something underneath it would look cluttered.

I agree. And I'm not a fan of word art in general.

    I agree with this.

  • I agree with the others. if you add something to the bottom, it'll look like an afterthought. I think it looks great as is!

same thoughts here, and another non-fan of word decals or decals in general outside of nurseries....  The only thing I could think of is getting a skinny console table to go behind the couch, you could put some lamps, books, frames (standing, not on the wall) to fill in the gap... expensive idea, but an idea.
