so it's nearing the time that bed should be beckoning me. i haven't been able to sleep for like the past 2 weeks.. which coincides with when i started back in the gym. i usually am so exhausted from working out and now, i can't sleep.
anyone else? is it this time of year? are there over the counter sleeping meds? i'm seriously considering them.. or some herbal tea or something? i need help! i don't want to get sick and i want to continue working out.
also- i know i'm a pw but f, seattle nest is not on it lately. wth, ladies.

we're having twins!
Re: sleeping issues
My old trainer would tell me not to work out before bed because it wakes your body up. The few times I had to - I would take a warm shower to try to fall asleep.
If you don't have other options - I on occasion drink Sleepy Time Tea. You can find it at any grocery store.
and this is otc? are you suggesting it would make my bcp inactive? lol.

Haha no, but it is natural and I am not sure if it is regulated by the FDA... Sorry, being a nerd!

Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
H has mentioned melatonin before in a discussion with someone and said it's pretty much the most benign drug ever because it's something your body makes naturally to go to sleep, this is just adding a little extra. There are pretty much no side effects, you can't get addicted etc. It's even safe for kids (rare circumstances). At least that's my understanding!

This is why I take it... I have NEVER slept well (used to be up until 3am when I was ~7) So I don't want to take anything really strong or addictive.
