Recs for fine dining in Vegas

It's been awhile since DH and I have gone to Vegas so I am out of the loop with regards to good high end dining establishments.  I've always loved Picasso at the Bellagio, so we will be heading there.  Would appreciate any other recommendations. TIA.

Re: Recs for fine dining in Vegas

  • I just had a once-in-a-lifetime meal at Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace on Christmas.  It was truly extraordinary.  Luckily, I didn't have to pay for it.

On my own dime, I've loved L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, miX, and Sage.  My preference is precisely in this order.

    Bon apetit.

  • DH and I went in November, and our favorite meal was dinner at Bartolotta (at the Wynn). They have fresh seafood flown in from the Mediterranean coast every day.  The dishes are exquisite, and we only shared 4 tapas-style plates (it was plenty).

We also went to Jose Andres' restaurant, Jaleo, at the Cosmopolitan casino/hotel.  The tapas dishes were good but a bit pricey for what you got.

Next time, we want to go to Tom Colicchio's Craft Steak (at the MGM Grand) and Bobby Flay's Mesa Grille (Caesar's).

We both enjoyed brunch at Bouchon, which is Thomas Keller's restaurant at the Venetian.

    HTH!

  • Bartolotta was H's favorite, as PP said the food is incredibly fresh.  It's very well presented and paired together in very unique ways.

My favorite was Emeril's Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian.

  • We loved SW Steakhouse at Wynn.
  • We did the chef's tasting menu at Social House on our last trip and it was fantastic. It's not every day that you can say the wagyu beef was the least impressive thing we ate during the meal (the fish was amazing)!
