Foodies - looking for a rec

DH broke my food processor today, and while he SWEARS these things only happen 'just because it's me' - we all know better. Anyway, I need a new one. Nothing massive, it was a 7 cup one that broke. But up to 9 cups might be nice with baby (and eventually just more mouths) to feed. What do you recommend?

Re: Foodies - looking for a rec

  • We have both cuisinart and kitchen aid at work and I like both. I think the ka is just a touch more user friendly though.
  • I was going to suggest Cuisinart or Kitchenaid as well. We have a a smaller Cuisinart one and I like it. I want a bigger one like you though. I think I would probably go for the Kitchenaid just b/c the layout/style is similar to my KA blender and I really like it.

  • thanks ladies! our KA is what he broke Stick out tongue I think he didn't shut it down before trying to take the bowl off.... when I came over to check out his swearing the 'on' button was still pressed. Argh! lol. I did tell him yesterday that a new food processor is NOT a birthday present since my birthday is later this month. Of course, he's probably not thinking of replacing it at all...but I am Smile
