I just booked our flights to Puerto Rico. Right at $400 each for round trip. Not to shabby. We are going at the end of February and I can't effing wait. And I'm pretty jazzed that I won't have the pressure to be smokin' hot in my bikini (not that I ever really WAS, to be fair- but I was decent). I should be 14 weeks by then, assuming my US was correct.
Anywho. I'm totally looking forward to the first "real" vacation for P and I. And probably the last one I'll take for a long time.
Re: Fatty bikini time
Ooh, sounds fun! Particularly since I'm so cold I can't feel my fingers at the moment.
Ah, just fair warning, 14 weeks is the awful limbo phase where you just look like you've eaten too many donuts. Might want a tankini or something. ;-)
Yesssss. I read this and though "ugh, there is NO WAY I would have been in a bikini at 14 weeks."
I will pack the tankini. But it is doubtful I will wear it. I just feel all itchy in my midsection when I wear one. And kind of hot, it just doesn't breath. I'm all for comfort. And it's just the two of us, no one I'll ever see again. I've been known to wear my bikini when I'm in the grey zone of what looks good, so at least this time I'll have a valid excuse.
We rented a house which will be awesome because we can at least eat breakfast there to save some money, and it comes with a golf cart to take to the beach. Hells yes.
