Bummer. DH thinks it may have something to do with the TC's policy on restaurants. Apparently any restaurant that opens in the TC has to have a minimum # of restaurants throughout the country. DH thought it was 5. Since their Tampa store closed in December (according to the article), maybe the TC gave them the boot? I'm not sure who told DH about this rule though so take it with a grain of salt.

That really sucks. It looks like the closest location is in Atlanta? Does it say you can use it anywhere else on the back?

Whiskey River only has two locations.

Everywhere else has five plus locations.

Theory debunked.

I just wasted entirely too much time researching that lol.

LOL! This is why I like you so much. As mentioned, no idea where DH heard this but I'll inform him when he gets home that it's not true.

That sucks. I loved The Grape! Side note though, I don't think Whiskey River is technically part of the Town Center. I don't think that whole side is part of the Town Center. http://www.simon.com/mall/malldirectory.aspx?id=857

While I really liked The Grape, I thought they were overpriced. I love grabbing a glass of wine & a flatbread, but I'd rather go somewhere like Urban Flats where the flatbread would be twice the size for the same cost.

I have to agree with this. I never really thought it was worth the cost.

I think I ate there less than five times. I went for the drinks and it was so convenient to stop by during shopping. I was actually going to meet a gf there tonight before we went shopping.

That stinks! I think it is really poor business practice that they were selling gift cards during the holidays if they were closing. I just emailed corporate.
