my mom cracks me up
I know I've posted about this before, but she's so passive agressive sometimes, I just have to laugh.
I haven't talked/emailed w/ her in 4 days and apparently, that's unacceptable. She sends me this very formal email asking how I am, how is DH, how is DD, how was our NY, did I enjoy my holidays, did I work last week.
Ummmm - I talked to you 4 days ago lady, nothing dramatic has happened. If I have something interesting to talk to her about, I call, if not, I don't. If she wants to call me, she can call me (or email or text me), its not like I'm screening her calls or something.

my mother is identical but never emails. Has hardly responded to the specific emails I send over the years but definitely not timely.
Anyway I agree, nothing interesting to report then no need to chat. I dont care what she ate for dinner 3 nights ago and she shouldnt care what I did (just an example) I just hate 100 random questions.
I always say I'm not going to be like that!

Ummmm - pretty much the same as we were last week or 3 weeks ago. If Ella has started doing multiplication suddenly or grew 2 feet, I'd probably have called you.
