so we have a lot of outfits that I just don't think will work for Ada based on her size/proportions or that I just don't need...but I have no idea where they came from.
any ideas where I could try to return items with tags from these brands?
First Impressions (I think Macy's?)
Vitamins baby
BabyGear
I'm sure I'll get minimal store credit and I will just donate if I can't get any store credit...
Re: mom's - brand questions
My SIL says that Marshall's will almost take ANYTHING even if it doesn't have tags. haha.
I've never had luck returning things to Marshalls... how many outfits do you have? Sarina has changed so much each week that different outfits fit her at different points.
First impressions is definitely Macy's
I haven't seen the others.
First Impressions is definitely Macy's.
I don't know where Vitamin or Baby Gear are. We were given some hideous but obvious new Vitamin stuff without tags (no idea why...they were from older folks too...maybe they just took them off?). I don't know what to do with it. I washed it anyway since I don't have time for crapshoot returns (I DO have some ugly stuff to return to Macys!) but I know it'll never be worn and end up in the bin. Maybe I'll send it to daycare for emergencies?
We have literally at least two dozen, if not more, 0-3 onsies that were never worn. I know about half are hand me downs, but some were new and I feel guilty. They have so many clothes though (and all we've bought were their first overalls, thanksgiving and christmas dresses). I know in a year or so the well of stuff we have/were given/pass down will dry up and we'll be spending a lot on their clothes, but that doesn't help my complex now
I do keep extras in the bag, etc, which is nice (though if we're going somewhere, I tend to swap them out to match their outfits, esp since I prefer to coordinate them). I do think we'll go through more clothes in daycare though from messes/paint/food (well, when they start food in a month or two anyway).
One of my friends told me this weekend she buys her 2 yr old son enough clothes so that she only has to do laundry every 2 weeks. I just do not have the SPACE , not to mention huge block of time, for that quantity of laundry. I wash a load of clothes every other night or so (well, clothes or sheets or towels etc). I guess if we did laundry that rarely, we'd have used all their stuff.
