I admit I'm going hard on P&E when i shouldn't. I actually am not as militant on this issue as I seem. its just that poster drives me crazy. She's a constant AW about law school. Seriously. Every single post. It drives me crazy.

Law school is hard. 1L is brutal. Some people (*cough* freaks *cough*) don't think it's hard. Anyone who makes it out of law school alive and sane has the right to be melodramatic about how hard it was. Hell, with the crumbling legal market and our exorbitant loans it's our one chit left!!!

I get now that you weren't saying that law school was easy. And I know you were telling EVERYONE it doesn't matter what other people think about their professions. But when you came into a law school specific post and said it, I think you hit a nerve with some people....especially those of us who just recently graduated and/or are still going through that hell.
Anyway, just wanted to say I know what you were trying to say, even if I don't think I'm quite as independent as you are. No hard feelings.
um ok. Well when you come into a post that is about what I said, then I do tend to assume that your conversation is about what I said.

Well, my statement was about the thread in general. I'm not even sure what you said exactly. There were at least 112 responses when I checked it. It's not always about you, you know. Even so, my assertion that "law school is hard" was a very minor point compared to the bigger point that I was making: whether it's hard for everyone or not, we all have earned the right to b!tch about it!
