i like how active the board was yesterday/last night! tonz'o'fun ladies!
i had a *really* rough time waking up this morning. it's not like i went to bed super late or anything, i just couldn't do it. i'm hungry, and i didn't bring enough breakfast. these are my complaints this morning. carry on!

Good morning!
I had a rough time waking up today too. I was really sick yesterday and do feel somewhat better today, but all I want to do is sleep. I woke up with a massive headache and the coffee has yet to kick in. Blech. Here's hoping the day gets better.

i like how active it was but we could have been better ladies!!
i'm not working out at the gym today. i did the 30ds but that's it. i realized when i got home that one of my pairs of gym pants had holes in the butt.. how embarrassing. so i looked at 2 other pairs and they had holes along the seams.. so basically after work i'm going to buy new pants. what is weird is that my bra was stuck to something and i pulled it out.. i'm pretty sure it was stuck tot he butt of my pants.. anyway, yes i'm an irresponsible laundry doer...

Morning!
DH worked a bit late, so after a quick dinner, we just watched a TV show together and went to bed.
This morning DH had to be up a little earlier than usual - so I got up to and made a green monster smoothie for breakfast.

I had a super-productive day yesterday which was great, and which I capped off with an afternoon hanging out with my girlfriend and her two small children. We went to dinner and got ice cream after... and while I love my girlfriend's kids, spending the afternoon with them was a very effective form of BC.
Not a lot planned today. I have to spray all our travel clothes with this mosquito repellent and then finish packing our suitcases. Need to take two pairs of heels in to get re-soled, and I tutor this afternoon. Going to dinner tonight for a friend's birthday so it should be a nice day, and as long as I get everything done for our trip then I won't be too stressed.

I'm planning on heading back to bed for a nap as soon as I get an email I've been waiting for, lol, so I'm not sure I consider the day to have 'actually' started yet.

Good morning! I work till 4 today and then DH and I have an appointment at 8. I plan on making beef enchiladas when I get home.
We got home late last night, he played some Star Wars and I was on TN and TB before going to bed. Not too tired today which is nice.

i KNOW! it's so frustrating!! we're finally at an age where we make money and *want* to save, as opposed to being a teenager and spending every dime from your measly paychecks! these minimal interest rates on savings accounts are killing me.

James hit snooze this morning and he has his clock radio set in between stations so it's just really loud static. It was annoying, but I'm a snooze hitter, too, so I can't complain, but it did hurt my sleeping - plus I had cramps and it was hard for me to fall back asleep with them.
Tillman is out of school until the 16th, and although I love having him home, I'm not sure what we are going to do for the next week and a half. A couple movies at the $2 theater, some games at home and playing legos is all I've got. Sounds lame. I'm being a mean mom, too, and making him write tons of thank you notes and stay up on his reading and math drills during the break.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
We opened a get account and savings for bkb. Jennlin- it may be easier to open the get account after baby is born and you have the social. That way you don't have to go through the hassle of changing beneficiaries.
I'm getting my hair done. It's way over due. Nice to get a little pampering. H is off today. Hopefully we'll get some alone time later today

We opened a get account and savings for bkb. Jennlin- it may be easier to open the get account after baby is born and you have the social. That way you don't have to go through the hassle of changing beneficiaries.
I'm getting my hair done. It's way over due. Nice to get a little pampering. H is off today. Hopefully we'll get some alone time later today

i wanted to wait...or i thought about waiting...but h said it's easy to switch, so we're going to do it now...we're already getting lots of money from the fam (chinese gives money instead of baby shower girts), and we feel guilty depositing it into our own accounts.

yeah, you buy your own baby stuff! *and* usually you don't get the money until after the baby is born...we don't have baby showers, but we have a welcome-baby-party, 30 days after the baby is born....."just in case" the baby doesn't survive. that's when the baby meets the extended family, friends, and a name gets announced.
but since most our friends are non-chinese, i'm having both.
a traditional american baby shower, and then a meet the baby later.

Agreed. I too am hungry...lunch in 8 minutes!
So last night I fell at work onto the concrete floor straight onto my kneecap. It hurt like a mother! So I ended up not going to work today, and.... unfortunately shopped. Ahh! It's feeling better though now and I think I can go tomorrow.
I've also been job searching again. I have like 6 apps at Boeing and I've been searching around the Mukilteo area and have found a few places I would like to work. Now it's just waiting time. If Boeing doesn't get back to me soon, I've been applying since August, I really need a part time morning job. I'm afraid UPS is gonna start giving me partial layoff again just like last year. 12 years at that place and you would think I have job security. Ah well, crossing my fingers though!
