Re: Shame on Priscilla!
I heard from a girl who used to work for Davids Bridal (who took PoB over a year or two ago) that its a Davids policy if it can't sell (by the time they closed the store) it gets tossed so no one can have it. The "official word" from Davids is that they were not sellable because of wear/tear and all that.
I work with Wish Upon a Wedding and I think we could have given those dresses to girls who are sick or wounded or any number of things. So shame on DAVIDS not PoB.
I also got my dress from PoB and I'm sad that their sale to Davids and their final days are tarnishing their stellar rep in the bridal industry.
shame on who-ever that is so ridiculous. there are plenty of ladies out there who would love a dress that was going to be thrown out, even with a tear or stain that could prob be hidden or fixed.
so annoying - people suck.
