I'll be in NYC during restaurant week and am looking for suggestions on what restaurants I should make reservations at. Basically, it's a pre fix menu at some really nice restaurants for $35. So it's a chance to dine somewhere that we otherwise not might have. Here's a link.

Re: NYC ? - Restaurant Week Suggestions
OK, took a look here are some general thoughts and ideas.
If you want newer hipper places stick with downtown - esp "meatpacking". A number of the places I've been are Uptown (where I used to live) and likely very out of the way of anything you'll be doing.
Atlantic Grill and Blue Water Grill - both good seafood places by same owners.
Blue Fin - good seafood in Times Square if you happen to be there. In the W hotel.
Delmonicos - classic Wall St. Steakhouse. Other good steak options are The Strip House and Smith & Wollensky (S&W if you want a 'classic' NYC place)
i Trulli - yummy Italian
Les Halles - french bistro in East 20s on Park. Anthony Bourdain's place
Mesa Grill - Bobby Flay
Michael Jordans - can't speak to the food but it's in a cool spot in Grand Central Terminal, if you want to check that out (and I would, it's beautiful). If you go, go for a drink at The Campbell Apartment - it's a 'hidden' place within Grand Central, ask around for how to get in.
One if by Land,.... - never eaten there but always on the lists of romantic spots, lots of engagements there, etc.
Po - Mario Battali's place
Hope that helps - and now I'm hungry!
