Winter Wedding - tights/hose or no?
I'm going to a wedding in Kansas City this weekend. I'm wearing either a navy blue dress or a black dress. Do I wear hose/tights? If I wear the navy dress, are black hose ok, or do I need to go nude?
Also, I have some nude pumps that I was considering wearing. Is that acceptable for a winter wedding?
Re: Winter Wedding - tights/hose or no?
I want to say yes. I think the hose color depends on the shoes. If you do nude pumps, I would do nude hose.
Or, you could do something a little off the wall. Lately I've been seeing combos like these (bright tights with black shoes--I like the open toe):

I was just wondering about this. When I visit the ILs in the Dakotas I tend to wear my less fashion forward stuff.
I'd probably do nude hose/nude heels. Although for the record I love navy/black combos and would have picked that for a DC wedding. I think this (mixing navy and black) was one of the things mentioned in How to Dress Like a Parisian.
Yeah, my ILs live in KC and moved there from Orange County- my MIL still gets a lot of questioning looks when she goes out. I also wear less trendy clothes when I'm there, still try to look nice, but more classic than fashion forward.
