Keurig recommendations...?
Ok I don't drink coffee, know nothing about it, but I wanted to ask whether this is a "good" one to get? My dear friend is throwing me a sprinkle (like a baby shower but not, for a 2nd baby) and I know she wants one of these so I plan to buy one, along with a few dozen k-cups.

She LOVES it. She is 84 and I was worried she would not be able to sort it out. She is rocking it.
If she is local, I got it at BB&B with a 20% off coupon.
I'd go for one more like this.... two important features: ability to brew a bigger cup (10oz!), and a water resevoir (which yours also has...).
I have the single cup brewer that brews either 6 or 8 oz (not sure which...). It's a really small cup of coffee.
Ditto this! The K-cups can get pricey, especially if you plan to use it every day (though Costco sells the Green Mountain in a big box!). I like that I can use my own coffee, even if it's not offered as a K-cup.
We have this one and love it. It does 3 different sized cups. I'm not sure what the biggest one is - we have pretty big coffee mugs, and it fills them the perfect amount.
I don't drink coffee - so DH got me tea and hot chocolate k-cups! It's all very exciting for me.

My father in law also has this one and really likes it. We don't have one since neither of us drink coffee.. The hot chocolate and hot apple cider is really good. I like that there's the 3 differnt cup sizes since sometimes I want more of a stronger flavor (smaller cup).
This is exactly the same for us. We don't drink coffee, but it's perfect for visitors who do and we enjoy the tea, hot cider and hot chocolate.
We have had this one for two years now - no problems. We really like it.
20% Bed Bath & Beyond coupons for the Keurig and the coffee! My husband likes the Rev coffee (coffee infused with ginseng), and I like the Raspberry Chocolate Truffle.

For only a bit more, I could get all that... hmm...
I've had two Kuerigs. The mini says it brews up to 10 ounces but it doesn't. It's a nice, small coffee brewer but you can't fit many mugs under it. We had to buy a few new mugs. And mine died after a year. We just replaced it with the Platinum, which is around $177 in price. Steep price but I'm in love with it. It brews up to 11 ounces, has a huge water reservoir and I can fit my travel mug under it.
They do have ones in between but speaking from what I've had, I'd go with a slightly bigger one.

I just bought DH the platinum for Christmas and it is great. It has 5 cup size options and a big water reserve. It was really nice for hosting family over the holidays because it brews super fast. As PPs mentioned, it also does tea, cider, hot chocolate and you can just use it to get hot water for a teabag, etc.
I got ours at Costco - the Platinum + 60 Kcups + the kcup you can put your own stuff in was $149. I had bought a Signature at Macy's for $149 but returned it after I got this deal!
I looked at that one but I know she doesn't need all the bells and whistles in the Platinum. I just returned from BJ's and bought the Signature, and I think it'll be great. Not a bad price ($129 with 36 k cups and a reusable k cup)
